Dr. James Lee Biography

Dr. James Lee, a former U.S. Air Force officer, transitioned to become a full-time minister after feeling called by the Lord in 1986. He founded River of Life Ministries, dedicating over three decades to establishing indigenous churches worldwide and evangelizing unreached people groups, while also conducting conferences, seminars, and authoring three books on spiritual warfare and the kingdom of God. James and his wife Margarita have two children and six grandchildren.

Dr. James Lee, a Korean-born American, served nearly a decade in the U.S. Air Force before answering a spiritual calling in 1986. After earning degrees from Regent University, he founded River of Life Ministries in 2001. Over the past 33 years, he's focused on global evangelism, planting over 800 indigenous churches and reaching six unreached people groups. Dr. Lee's ministry includes conducting revival services, conferences, seminars, and authoring books on spiritual warfare. He's married with two children and six grandchildren, continuing his mission to expand the kingdom of God worldwide.

Dr. James Lee's journey began in the U.S. Air Force, where he served as an officer for almost a decade before feeling a divine calling in 1986. Transitioning from military service to ministry, he pursued education at Regent University, earning both a master's and a doctorate degree. In 2001, he founded River of Life Ministries, dedicating himself to global evangelism and the establishment of indigenous churches. Dr. Lee's impact has been profound, with over 800 churches planted and six unreached people groups evangelized through his discipleship efforts spanning 33 years. His ministry extends beyond preaching, encompassing revival services, conferences, seminars, and the authorship of books on spiritual warfare. Despite his global focus, Dr. Lee remains grounded in family, with a spouse, two children, and six grandchildren. Through his unwavering dedication, Dr. Lee continues to expand the kingdom of God, leaving a lasting legacy of faith and transformation.
